About Me


Katherine is a Clinical Social Worker specializing in individual, couples and family psychotherapy. Her office is located in Kansas City, Missouri with easy access within the city and interstate. The office is quiet, modern, private and is shared with other health care practioners.

With over 30 years experience as a clinician, and a graduate of The University of Kansas, she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are: Depression, Anxiety, Relationships, Parent/Child Issues, Grief and Loss, Sexuality, Childhood Abuse, Parenting, Childhood and Adult ADD and ADHD.

In addition, Katherine has presented at National conferences and to general audiences on topics ranging from Co-Dependency and Childhood Sexual Abuse. She has also acted as liason for The University of Kansas School of Social Welfare, supervising Bachelor and Masters level students in their field practicums.

Katherine is a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. She incorporates a blend of conventional and alternative approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. Katherine has completed her training in EMDR and is able to utilize this as well. With sensitivity and compassion, she works with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.
